Join us for a COP26 screening of Resilience Engineered Episode 1

Join us at Glasgow Caledonian University for a special COP26 screening of the first episode of our new documentary series Resilience Engineered. Produced in conjunction with the Engineering Department at Cambridge University, the series looks at resilience and uncertainty, and how we need to change our thinking when it comes to building infrastructure fit for a future where old certainties about climate no longer hold true.

How do we plan well for a future that we can’t predict? What is our goal for the future and how do we do things differently in how we design for that today? This first episode of Resilience Engineered establishes broad definitions of risk, uncertainty and resilience – and how these definitions shape our approach to making decisions. It describes how we need to think about the future beyond placing probabilities on certain events happening.

Watch our trailer below, or visit our Resilience Engineered page to find out more about the series.
