Lessons learned: improving resilience in the utilities sector

The Resilience Shift is partnering with Resilience First to present this event, taking place on Wednesday 22 January 2020, on sharing resilience best practice and lessons in the utility sector.

Speakers will address issues such as an holistic approach to urban water management in the face of climate change and experiences like that of the Cape Town in 2018, ensuring that a resilient power distribution network can deal with outages like those on 9 August 2019, and the role of the regulator in ensuring resilience across the sector.

The event will begin with a general briefing and be followed by a networking reception.
