The Resilience Shift along with the Cities Water Resilience Framework, is hosting a three day workshop on urban water resilience and water governance.  Delegates from the five cities that took part in the fieldwork for the water governance tool will be present, and the workshop will be led by SIWI and wearetelescopic (WAT) with support from Arup. The cities are: Miami, Mexico City, Amman, Cape Town and Hull.

Day one will focus on providing the cities with the platform to present their City Characterisation Reports and the results of their preliminary resilience assessment using the Water Resilience Assessment Tool (WRAT). The afternoon will be dedicated to a workshop that seeks input from cities in shaping the WRAT based on their experiences of using it.

Day two will focus on governance and the Resilient Water Governance project. This will be led by SIWI and WAT with support from Arup.

Day three will focus on next steps. A morning workshop that seeks input from cities on what phase two should look like. The afternoon is dedicated to a site visit to the Thames Barrier with a closing speech on the River Thames whilst returning to Central London with insight into how water, the river and the connections to the sea became the catalyst for this amazing city.
