Elaine Roberts joins Resilience Shift Board

We are pleased to confirm that Elaine Roberts will join the Resilience Shift programme board as one of the Lloyd’s Register Foundation representatives.  Elaine is Chief Marketing Officer and leads on external affairs for Lloyd’s Register Group.  She replaces Tom Boardley who recently left Lloyds Register. We are very grateful to Tom for his support and guidance in the first two years of the Resilience Shift.

Elaine Roberts joined Lloyds Register as Chief Marketing Officer in August 2016.   She is also a Trustee for EngineeringUK, a not-for-profit organisation, which promotes the vital role of engineers and engineering to society.

Elaine has held a variety of customer, commercial, strategy, marketing and sales roles at BCA, Centrica, Vodafone and Motorola.  Prior to this she was an officer in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers for 12 years.   Elaine holds a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Defence Technology.

Ruth Boumphrey, Director of Research, Lloyd’s Register Foundation and member of the Resilience Shift Board, said: “We are delighted that Elaine brings her extensive experience to the Resilience Shift. As part of the Board, she will provide guidance and support to our ambition to shift the thinking and practice of critical infrastructure resilience.”
